Million Thanks to my "MY"sore

"MY" SORE ,

It was at the age of three I went to Mysore, At that time , Mysore was looking as a very big city with big Mahishasura on top of
chamundi hills, Majestic Mysore Palace, Voluminous KRS & Cauvery, beautiful Kukkarahalli ,Karanji and Lingambudhi lakes ,
Stunning Lalith Mahal, overwhelming Kalidasa and DD Urs Road and the well known world famous Grand Dasara festival.

It was surprisingly astonishing for me as I grew up in most wonderful and pleasant place 'Mysore'.

Mysore really cannot be experienced in trips or holiday vists , Like a creeper growing and encircling the staff, You have to live and

grow with Mysore to completly experience the beautiness of it.

When Dasara starts , the enitre city will be decorated like a beautiful bride with stunning palace with full of lightings, that's Mysore for you

When you go on morning walk in double road which joins Ring road now , the vegetable vendor stops and asks you to take vegetables brought freshly from their village on that morning, tats Mysore for you,

When the milkman sees you on a walk , and delivers an extra half litre without asked, tats's Mysore for you.

when you go on an evening walk, Mysore is when you collect little red 'gulganji' seeds on your way back home from Kukkarahalli lake,

When you walk a little ahead and the librarian says he has the latest copy of "Kasturi" or "Mayura", that's Mysore for you.

Mysore is when you come by Tippu express,and you find someone going in your direction to drop you off, thats Mysore for you.

Mysore is climbing chamnudi hills through steps on sunday morning,

Mysore is when you wait for your copy of "Star of Mysore".

Mysore is having Masal dosa and Tea in GTR hotel,

Mysore is buying vegetables at Agrahara,

Mysore is buying plantain leaves in Nanjumalige for festivals, savoring the aroma of the agarbatti factory behind,

Mysore is enjoying drama in Kalamandir.

Mysore is munching corn-on-the-cob in the palace foreground,

Mysore is gifting Mysore silk sarees to their loved ones .

Mysore is favoring Mysore Pak during occasions

Mysore is buying fruits in K.R.market

Mysore is visiting Mysore Zoo, Jagan Mohan Palace, lalith mahal and Brindavan Gardens with friends and relatives.

Mysore is triping to near by Melkote,Somanathapura KRS in north, Srirangapatna,Ranganthittu in west Nanjungud,Talakad, Gopalaswamy hill,

Bandipur,ooty in south and Nagarhole,Bylakuppe, Nisargadama,Golden Temple ,Coorg in east,

Mysore is when SSLC results are announced at Marimallappa's High School.

Mysore is when there are student body elections in Marimallappa's College.

Mysore is when, you hear Bellikatte or K.G.Koppal Or Ashokpuram instead of Rowdism,

Mysore is when English movies are only at Rajkamal or Sterling.

Mysore is the eternal SJCE-NIE feud.

Mysore is having grape juice at RTO cirlce,

Mysore is when you got your project report bound at venkateshwara Binders in Saraswathipuram,

Mysore is going for road trip to Madikeri.

Mysore is bunking class and going to Balmuri and yedmuri,

Mysore is enjoying every second of Yuva dasara in open air theater,

Mysore is participating in Jayciana,Vidhyuth and NIE fest.

Mysore is watching beautiful gals in Mahajana's college and Kalidasa Road,

Mysore is playing cricket in Pavilion grounds,

Mysore is eating ice-creams at Penguin,

Mysore is acting in Rangabhoomi.

Mysore is eating dosa at mylari hotel on sundays,

Mysore is having biriyani early in the morning , near Philo's church

Mysore is drinking sugarcane juice near Pavilion grounds and DC office,

Mysore is buying good tennis ball and other sports stuffs in Raghuveer Sports in DD Urs road,

Mysore is jumping high on top of Chamundi hill to see the entire Mysore,

Mysore is when I grew up , before GRS, before the underbridge in front of Sarawathipuram Fire Brigade ,Before majestic Infosys,before Ring-Road.

Mysore is going on top of chamundi hills on sunday night to see the complete lightings of entire Mysore and fabulous Mysore palace.

Mysore is tracking your house,colleges,lakes,palace,lalith mahal,race course,police bhavan, DC office, each and every corner from top of chamundi hill

Thats "My" Sore for you.

But, B'cos of various reasons I along with my parents have to shift to our new flat in banglore leaving my soul in mysore.
Even though I shift to banglore , My heart stays only in mysore & with beautiful people there and it cannot come out of it.

Now I miss my mysore, I really miss it... Now I realise what is the pain the person experience when a mysorean is parted
from "My" Sore... :-(

But I promise myself to go back to my "MY"sore and to stay intend with my soul & heart which is awaiting there for me
